<p>FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: procedure is implemented by process machining. Also, rotation motions of a processed work-piece and assembled hob cutter and its radial and tangential feed are kinematically coupled. The hob cutter consists of a case, of rotary inserted racks pressed tightly into rectangular slots with case heating and of two covers secured on both ends. On the side of a calibrating part one cover is made in form of a disk, on periphery of which in the slot there is installed a needle part gathered out of bundles of nap in form of radially arranged rods of metal wire rigidly attached to the bottom of the slot and interconnected with a flexible mass. Coils of the needle part are made in form of continuation of coils of the calibrating part; they are designed to strengthen working surfaces of teeth of the work piece and have not less, than two complete continuous coils; also thickness of a tooth of the strengthening needle part of the disk is bigger, than thickness of the tooth of the calibrating part of the cutter at a value of double negative allowance. Additionally, rods of metal wire, making the tooth of the needle part, are of L-shape, a foot of the rod is positioned radially; a bent part of the rod projects and forms a side working part of the cutter tooth; with its end it effects side surface of the processed work-piece and strengthens it. ^ EFFECT: extended process functionality by implementing combined tooth treatment, strengthening working surfaces of cut teeth. ^ 10 dwg, 1 ex</p> |
