PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventing and improving agent for cancer which is really effective against cancer, not a mere symptomatic therapy and reduces side effects.SOLUTION: The preventive and improving composition for cancer includes 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA), its derivative or a salt thereof or 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA), its derivative or a salt thereof and at least one iron compound as active ingredients; and a food or a food material for preventing and improving cancer added with the composition are provided. |
