PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents power supply from being stopped when a malfunction occurs, also prevents a nonvolatile storing device storing the operation information of an image forming apparatus from being damaged, and thereby surely stores the operation information in the nonvolatile storing device.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a RAM 122 for storing a log file of the image forming apparatus; an HDD 123 for storing the log file stored in the RAM 122; a power source 60 for controlling power supplied in the image forming apparatus from the outside; and a control section 110 for inhibiting control to stop power supply by the power source 60 while log information storing processing is executed which moves the log file stored in the RAM 122 to the HDD 123 and stores it therein when a service call is generated. |
