The rapid connector for pipelines carrying a fluid under pressure comprises a tube (1a) with a locking collar (3). The other end (1b) of the tube fits over two rings (7a, 7b) between which is a locking washer (8). This can be rapidly released by pressing on a flange (9) at the end of a connecting tube which fits inside the second ring.
