PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the highly accurate recording of the recorded position even if the information is seamlessly recorded over again to an optical information recording medium. SOLUTION: As to the recording method to record the binary information by changing the condition of a recording thin film with the irradiation of a light beam on the optical information recording medium, when the recording data block of specified length is recorded with respect to the optical information recording medium, the recording is executed by extending the length of the data by adding the data of preset length to the tip part or rear end part without changing the datarecorded position of the recording data block, or by reducing the length of the data by cutting off the data of preset length.
