PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance luminance by forming protrusion patterns serving both as roles of domain partition and spacers in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device in which a first insulated substrate, a pixel electrode which is formed on the first insulated substrate and has many excision patterns and is divided into many areas by the excision patterns, a second insulated substrate which corresponds to the first insulated substrate, a common electrode which is formed on the second insulated substrate, a liquid crystal layer which is poured between the first substrate and the second substrate and many protrusion patterns which are formed on the common electrode and regulate inclination of liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer by being positioned at many areas of the pixel are included and in which the interval between the first substrate and the second substrate is maintained constantly by these protrusion patterns is provided. |
