<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect adding apparatus capable of changing the kinds of adding effects with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When starting an main effector part 10, only a signal provided with an effect added by the main effector part 10 is output externally, and also a 1st effect adding signal is supplied to a release effector part 20 and stored therein beforehand. When stopping the start of the main effector part 10, a 2nd effect adding is carried out to the effect adding signal supplied to and stored in the main effector part 20 and the signal is output externally.
