PURPOSE: To provide a ceramic hearth roll fixing device for minimizing formation of defects formed on the surface of a silicon steel sheet and enabling a ceramic hearth roll to be disassembled and assembled easily by arranging the ceramic hearth roll such that split shafts rotatably support only both ends of the ceramic hearth roll. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic hearth roll fixing device comprises a hearth roll sleeve(5) both ends of which opened, and on a part of the outer circumferential surface of which a communication hole(10) communicated with an external air is formed; split shafts(2a,2b) which are inserted into the both ends of the hearth roll sleeve and rotatably supported by bearings(11a,11b), on a front part of which catching projections(13a,13b) are formed, and on the outer circumferential surface of which a screw thread is formed with being spaced from the catching projections; fixtures(15) which are fixed to both ends of the hearth roll sleeve by passing through the split shafts, and on which catching surfaces(14a,14b) are formed such that the catching projections are caught on the catching surfaces; a refractory forming members(6a,6b) movably inserted along the split shafts and cohesively fixed to the fixtures by fixing nuts(3a,3b) clamped to the screw thread of the split shafts; and an inserted refractory material(7) embedded in the hearth roll sleeve to reinforce strength of a central part of the hearth roll sleeve.
