<p>A hose holder 200 for securing a hose to a container comprises a tube with a straight portion 210 coupled to a curved section 215, and an attachment fixture 205 connected to the tube to enable the tube to be fixed to said container (not shown), a hose 105 being located in the tube in use, the cross-sectional area of the tube being larger than that of the hose. Ideally, once the hose is fed through the tube, the hose holder works by providing a friction counter-force to the hose end during the filling a bucket or barrel with water 300, and thereby preventing it falling out / withdrawing itself. The ends of the tube 220, 225 may be at an angle to each other. The hose holder may be attached to the container by a magnet, a spring clip 205, clamp, bracket or hook-and-loop fastener. The tube confining the hose may have a circular, square or rectangular cross-section.</p> |
