A method for preparing chips of coconut pulp includes removing peels, cutting the pulp into slices, batched loading thereof into a rotary drum, heating the slices by convection method up to obtaining chips, cooling the chips and packing the ready product. Prior to removing the peel the entire surface thereof is evenly beaten up to appearance of a loud sound. Then at least in two ovules punctures are made for the entire thickness of the pulp through which the juices are removed. The pulp is cut into slices with a thickness 0.5-, and heating of the slices is carried out additionally by contact method at a temperature of a heat carrier of 115-200 °C in the curse of the preset time. |
