PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating unit capable of effectively utilizing radiation from a heat transfer plate in the heating unit including a light source and the heat transfer unit. SOLUTION: The heating unit includes the light source 1 and the heat transfer plate 4. In the heating unit, the heat transfer plate consists of a light transmissive holder 2 and a heat transfer member 3. As means for increasing radiation from the surface of the heat transfer member to an article to be heated, a surface 3A is subjected to diffusing surface processing to more increase a surface area than the rear surface 3B of the heat transfer member.
