PURPOSE: Apparatus and method for coating platinum catalysts for a fuel cell are provided to save manufacturing costs of a fuel cell using a small amount of platinum, and to improve cell efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for coating platinum catalysts for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: (S1) generating platinum plasma; (S2) accelerating the platinum ion in a prescribed direction by providing an electric field to the platinum plasma; (S3) applying a magnetic field to the platinum ion to control a progressive orbital of the platinum ion; and (S4) injecting platinum ions proceeding along the orbital in a predetermined interval.
