The tank has an outer reinforcing liner (2) provided on an outer surface of an inner sealing liner (1). A fluid opening (4) is formed on the liners. A lower portion (13) of a polar part (3) i.e. collar, is extended toward a lower part of a tank unit. Thickness of the lower portion of the polar part is reduced gradually toward the lower part of the unit. A lower face (33) of the lower portion of the polar part is in contact with an adaptation layer (5). An elasticity modulus of an adaptation layer material is less than or equal to an elasticity modulus of a reinforcing liner material. The polar part is made of metal such as steel and aluminum. The inner sealing liner is made of plastic such as polymer. The adaptation layer is made of composite material and/or plastic material such as polymer. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a tank.
