PURPOSE: An insulation panel assembly for a liquefied gas storage tank is provided to improve the durability of an insulation panel by installing compensation parts with different elastic modules. CONSTITUTION: An insulation panel assembly for a liquefied gas storage tank comprises multiple insulation panels(10), recessed parts(12), compensation parts(20). The insulation panels are composed of polygonal bodies. The recessed parts are formed in the top edge of the insulation panels. The compensation parts are arranged between the insulation panels and are composed of a material with a higher elastic modulus than the insulation panel.
