PURPOSE: A crystallization method of iodixanol in isopropanol and methanol is provided to minimize moisture content in a mother liquid while gradually adding isopropanol during crystallization, and to reduce the used amount of solvent. CONSTITUTION: A crystallization method of iodixanol in isopropanol and methanol comprises the steps of: controlling a water content of iodixanol solution to a peak concentration of iodixanol, wherein the peak concentration has 0.17-0.18 liter water per 1 kg iodixanol; adding 1-3 liter methanol per 1 kg iodixanol to the product; gradually adding 1.5-4 liter isopropanol per 1 kg iodixanol one time or several times to the product.
