The device (70) has a folded filter (72) lying in an intake air flow produced by a vacuum cleaner. The filter has a frustum shape, where folds of the filter create a frustum i.e. circular frustum. A primary separation device (50) is arranged in an air inlet opening of a separation chamber by cyclone effect or inertia and/or by a wire netting. A cylindrical body (52) of the separation device is provided with an air passage opening (60). An air outlet opening is arranged downstream a secondary separation device of the separation chamber.
