<p>Use of transparent composition based on at least one methacrylic polymer for construction of photoreactors usable in the field of treatment of drinking water, waste water pollution control, treatment of air or gas, deodorizing or decontamination of soil, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) use of a transparent multilayer structure comprising at least one layer of at least one methacrylic polymer and at least one layer comprising at least one fluorinated polymer, which is able to contact with a medium to be treated, the layers being arranged one on the other, for construction of installation for the implementation of photochemical advanced oxidation, preferably heterogeneous photocatalysis in the field of drinking water treatment, waste water pollution control, treatment with air or gas, deodorizing or soil decontamination; and (2) a photoreactor containing films, plates or transparent tubes based on at least one methacrylic polymer and at least one fluorinated polymer in the fields of drinking water treatment, waste water pollution control, treatment of air or gas, deodorizing or decontamination of soil.</p> |
