PURPOSE: A liquid level sensor device is provided to prevent the overflow of a liquid storage tank by the stop of the operation of a liquid supply pump in case of the error of a liquid supply pump control function of a main float. CONSTITUTION: A liquid level sensor device comprises a liquid level sensor(20), a liquid supply pump(30), and a control unit(40). The liquid level sensor comprises a guide rod(22), a main float(23), an upper stopper(24), and a lower stopper(25). The guide rod which is inserted into a liquid storage tank(10) is formed on the lower part of a sensor head(21) installed outside the liquid storage tank. The main float elevates the guide rod along the liquid level of the liquid storage tank. The top and bottom stoppers are installed on the top and bottom of the guide rod, respectively. The liquid supply pump is installed in order to supply the liquid to the liquid storage tank. The control unit is connected to the liquid level sensor and the liquid supply pump. |
