PURPOSE: A meter reading apparatus and a method using the same are provided to accurately detect the amount used in electricity, water supply, and gas. CONSTITUTION: A connecting unit(120) receives a metering signal from a pulse type meter. A controller(130) checks a predetermined number of a high pulse signal which is supplied from the connecting unit and sets a counter flag value. When the controller receives high pulse signal, it increase meter value. |
