The rotor (1) has a blade retaining unit prestressed in compression with an assembly connecting blades (10, 20) by a drive unit (2) i.e. drive shaft. The retaining unit comprises a stack of thin blades. Ends of the retaining unit are pierced through retaining openings separated by a space when the retaining unit is not constrained. The openings cooperate with a primary opening of a fixing unit (30) of the drive unit and a secondary opening of the blade that are separated by another space when the blades are fixed by the drive unit.
