PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method capable of keeping the wastewater treatment more stable than a conventional method.SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment method having the mixing step in which the wastewater (4) and water containing an oxidizing agent (5) is mixed to decrease the value of the contamination evaluation index approximately to zero ppm, and the electrolyzing step in which at least a part of treated water (8) is electrolyzed to increase residual chlorine concentration, the treated water (8) whose residual chlorine concentration has been increased is mixed as the water containing the oxidizing agent (5) with the wastewater (4). It is also possible to supply at least a part of the treated water (8) having gone through the oxidation action to a chlorine gas separation tank (12) to make the residual chlorine therein vaporize as chlorine gas. |
