PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily output an image other than a leading image even by an image processing apparatus without having a function of recognizing an image included in an image file and other than the leading image.SOLUTION: This method of controlling the image processing apparatus includes: an output means to output an image included in a multi-image file of a format in which the leading image can be processed by an image processing apparatus which cannot deal with the multi-image file but an image other than the leading image cannot be processed by the image processing apparatus which does not deal with the multi-image file; and a control means to replace, in the case where an output instruction to output the image other than the leading image out of the plurality of images included in the multi-image file has been accepted, the image to which the output instruction has been accepted with the leading image. |
