PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent substrate of high use efficiency of fluorescence from fluorescent substance.SOLUTION: The fluorescent substrate 200 includes a base 201 which has the form of a disk and where an annular recess is formed at a position near an outer periphery, a minute reflective structure 210 which is formed on the inner surface of the annular recess, and a fluorescent layer which is laid in the annular recess on the minute reflective structure 210. The minute reflective structure 210 is formed of a flat section 221 and a plurality of projections 223 made substantially pyramidal, which project from the flat section 221. The side surface of the projection 223 is formed in parabolic surface shape. The optical axis of the fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent layer in a direction substantially parallel to the flat surface of the base 201 is changed to emit the fluorescence from an emission surface, thereby the use efficiency of the fluorescence is enhanced. |
