PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein power consumption and pressure resistance must be increased because a wide output range is required of a circuit for generating data voltage if a data voltage range is changed for brightness adjustment.SOLUTION: This display device is equipped with: a light emitting element emitting light by the flow of a current; a transistor having a source connected to a power source and supplying the current to the light emitting element from a drain; a capacitor with one end connected to a gate of the transistor; a gate voltage setting circuit separably connected to the gate of the transistor and setting the gate voltage of the transistor to an initial voltage; and a capacitor end voltage setting circuit connected to the other end of the capacitor and setting the other end voltage of the capacitor to one of a data voltage corresponding to image information and a constant reference voltage not depending on the image information. A range in which a current flowing to the light emitting element varies depending on the data voltage, is adjusted by changing the initial voltage or the reference voltage. |
