PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for air conditioner, capable of avoiding an overall trouble of an air conditioner, in the event of a failure in one indoor unit, without stopping the overall operation of the air conditioner.SOLUTION: The control device 60 for the air conditioner which is configured to control refrigerant so that cooling operation or heating operation can be performed by selectively connecting indoor heat exchangers to a liquid pipe 13, a high-pressure gas pipe 11 and a low-pressure gas pipe 12 through decompressing devices to vaporize or condense the refrigerant in the indoor heat exchangers 6a, 6b includes a plurality of indoor units 5a and 5b each including a serial circuit of the indoor heat exchanger 6a, 6b and the decompressing device 18a, 18b provided in parallel, all of the indoor heat exchangers 6a and 6b being connected by piping so that the same cooling operation or heating operation can be performed. When a failure occurs in at least one indoor unit 5b of the plurality of indoor units 5a and 5b provided in parallel, inflow of refrigerant to these indoor units is interrupted. |
