PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of restricting the execution of association in response to an instruction from a user who is not authorized for access.SOLUTION: A PC 20 transmits the utilization user identification information of the PC 20 to a printer 10 before transmitting a communication request requesting wireless communication to the printer 10, and the printer 10 includes a user authentication unit that authenticates the utilization user by comparing requesting user identification information received by the printer 10 with user identification information stored in a user identification information storage section. When the authentication is successfully performed, the printer 10 transmits authentication completion information to the PC 20, and in association, the PC 20 transmits authentication completion information to the printer 10. When authentication completion information received from a wireless USB device is matched with the authentication completion information transmitted to the PC 20, the printer 10 continues the association. |
