PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil property determination method capable of determining a type of a soil property by the use of a simple device which measures specific resistance.SOLUTION: The soil property determination method for determining the type of the property of soil deposited on the ground 1 includes: a process for forming a hole 2 in the ground; a process for inserting an electrically conductive cone 4 in the hole and measuring specific resistance; and a process for determining the type of the soil property by comparing a relation between a specific resistance coefficient computed on the basis of the specific resistance measured in the hole and the specific resistance of interstitial water collected from the ground with relations previously determined on a plurality of types of the soil properties. |
