PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor which can reduce a project area smaller and a coil for use in the reactor.SOLUTION: A pair of coils 10A, 10B composed of a series of windings and disposed in parallel via a joining section 13, and an annular core 20 in which a part is embedded in both the coils 10A, 10B and the remaining part is exposed from both the coils 10A, 10B are provided. In a reactor 100, the joining section 13 is protruded to the outside of a turn part from a turn-forming surface (upper turn-forming surface 15U) formed of turn parts of both the coils 10A, 10B disposed in parallel. Then, of core surfaces having a substantially parallel relationship with an installation surface of the reactor, exposed surfaces (upper exposed surface 22U, lower exposed surface 22L) exposed from a coil 10 are protruded to at least one side of the joining section 13 side and the opposite side to the joining section 13 side from coated surfaces (upper coated surface 21U, lower coated surface 21L) coated with the coil 10. |
