PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film having high transparency and blocking-resistance by suppressing the generation of fine scratches in a film deposition process and optimum as a base film for a lens sheet.SOLUTION: In the base film for a lens sheet, having a coating layer formed on at least one side of a substrate film, the coating layer includes as principal components, at least one binder resin selected from among an urethane resin, a polyester resin and an acrylic resin, and a resin having an oxazoline group. The substrate film is a biaxially oriented polyester film having a laminating configuration of three or more layers composed of the outermost layers and at least one center layer, The outermost layer contains inert particles having an average particle size of 2.1 to 2.5 μm, the thickness of the outermost layer is in the range of 5 to less than 11 times the average particle size of the inert particles. In the surface protrusions having a height of≥2 nm on the surface of the outermost layer of the substrate film, observed through an atomic force microscope AFM, a ratio of the number of the surface protrusions having a ratio L/h (a ratio of the diameter L of the surface protrusion to the height h of the surface protrusion) of ≤50 is 30% or less. |
