PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which suppresses the manifestation of unevenness in peeling at the time of manufacture, and is superior in ink absorbency.SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for inkjet recording medium has the process wherein a supporting body is made to pass between two rollers which are press-bonded to each other, and an application liquid for an ink receiving layer containing an inorganic particle and a binder is applied on at least one surface of the supporting body. Then, the ink receiving layer is formed at least on one surface of the supporting body. The application liquid has a high share viscosity which is measured at a shear speed 6,000 (1/s) is from 100 to 300 mPa s. The adhesion energy E between the application liquid and the rollers which come into contact with the application liquid expressed with formula (1) is 11 mJ/mor lower for the manufacturing method for inkjet recording medium. |
