PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic reaction catalyst enabling the activities of palladium to be exhibited effectively, and capable of economically synthesizing a compound, and to provide a method for synthesizing the compound by using the synthetic reaction catalyst.SOLUTION: Palladium-containing perovskite-type composite oxide represented by formula (1): LnMCuPdO(1) is used as the synthetic reaction catalyst in a Suzuki cross couplings represented by formula (11).
