PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a device for gasification by alleviating the decline of gasification efficiency.SOLUTION: This device for gasification including a coal mill 1 for crushing eg. coal as a carbon-containing solid raw material, a gasification furnace 33 supplied with the crushed coal discharged from the coal mill 1 and reacting with a gasification agent under a high temperature and high pressure to generate product gas, a capturing means 43 for capturing char in the product gas discharged from the gasification furnace 33, a lock hopper device 47 for receiving the char captured by the capturing means 43, and a conveying tube 70 for conveying the char discharged from the lock hopper device 47 by pressure-raised conveying gas is characterized by installing a classifying machine 74 in the middle of the flow passage for supplying the coal between the coal mill 1 and gasification furnace 33, conveying the char to the classifying machine 74 to remove foreign matters and supplying the char removed with the foreign matters to the gasification furnace 33. |
