The control device is communicatively coupled with a speed measuring device (3) of a motor vehicle such that number of wiping movements of the windscreen wiper caused by the control device is controllable depending on a vehicle speed. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlled cleaning of disks of a motor vehicle.
