PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supply device which effectively uses endothermic action occurring in the pressure-reduction and expansion of fuel gas.SOLUTION: The gas supply device 10 for supplying hydrogen gas to a fuel cell in accordance with the request from the on-vehicle fuel cell includes a high pressure tank 12 storing hydrogen gas at a high pressure, regulators 16 and 24 reducing the pressure of the hydrogen gas, a hydrogen heat exchanger 20 for cooling another member by heat exchange with the hydrogen gas of which temperature is lowered by pressure reduction, a supply pipe 14 for supplying the pressure-reduced hydrogen gas to a fuel consuming device, and a control unit for controlling these devices. The control unit variably adjusts the pressure reduction amount by the regulators 16 and 24 in accordance with the requested load from the fuel cell. |
