<p>Granular insecticidal compositions containing as active ingredient, a m-alkyl-N-methyl carbamates (I) Stability of the granules. Besides (I) the granules contain: (a) an absorbant clay or amorphous mineral silicate having a pH below 7 in 10% aqueous suspension, e.g. an acid montmorillonite or kaolinite, (b) 0.5-5% of an aliphatic carboxylic acid having a pKa of at least 4, e.g. acetic and citric acids and (c) ethylacetoacetate, or (d) a partial polyoxyalkylene ester of phosphoric acid, or (e) an aliphatic polyol containing 2-5 hydroxy groups (2-100C atoms, pref. 2-10C atoms). To prepare the granules (a) is crushed to the desired particle size and then mixed with (b) and (c), (d) or (e). (I) is dissolved in a suitable solvent, e.g. hexane, benzene and mixed with the other ingredients.</p> |
