PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a register mark position identifying device that has sufficient immunity against graphic noise inevitably included in an actual image of a register mark.SOLUTION: The register mark position identifying device 100 includes: an imaging device 120 for imaging a register mark 600 on a fed sheet 500; an image memory 130 for storing the image data of the register mark imaged by the imaging device; a scanner 110 that scans in parallel to each side, constituting the register mark, on the image data stored in the image memory and moves the scanning direction to a direction orthogonal to each side; and an analyzer 140 that specifies the position of each side of the register mark on the basis of the scanning result so as to specify the position of the register mark. |
