PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a needle tube from coming out of a holding member without subjecting the needle tube or the holding member for holding the needle tube to surface treatment.SOLUTION: A syringe needle assembly 1 includes the needle tube 2 and a hub 3. The needle tube 2 includes a needle tube body 4 and a swollen part 5. The needle tube body 4 includes a needle tip which can be inserted into a living body. The swollen part 5 is formed in an annular shape continuing in the circumferential direction of the needle tube body 4 by a process of pressing the needle tube body 4 in the axial direction. The hub 3 includes an engagement part 38a to be engaged with the swollen part 5 of the needle tube 2 to hold the needle tube 2.
