PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress communication quality deterioration or velocity deceleration due to congestion by implementing congestion control by connectionless protocol communication over an IP network.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus (receiving node) 10, which has detected congestion, imparts congestion notification information to an ECN field in an IP header during connectionless protocol communication to a communication destination IP address in which the congestion has been detected. A communication apparatus (transmitting node) 20, which has detected the congestion notification information in the ECN field of the IP header, limits a transmission rate during connectionless protocol communication to a communication destination IP address in which the congestion notification information has been detected. |
