<p>An antenna array provided with two frames (20A, 20B) which form waveguides (43). Each frame includes a plate portion (40) and frame portion (50). The plate portion (40) includes grooves (42) laid out next to one another. Each groove (42) has an open end and a closed end (42a). The frame portion (50) is arranged adjacent to the plate portion (40). The frame portion (50) has an opening (51) that opens in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the grooves extend and a direction in which the grooves are laid out. A dielectric substrate (30) is held between the two frames (20A, 20B). The dielectric substrate (30) includes an array of feeders (31) and electronic circuits (60), each circuit having a discrete active element. The circuits (60) are exposed from the opening (51) of either one of the frames (20A, 20B). The frames are superimposed with the dielectric substrate (30) so that the grooves form the waveguides. Each circuit (60) is electromagnetically connected to a corresponding one of the waveguides (43).</p> |
