PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence caused by the movement of an optical axis on a captured image even in the case that dust is adhered to an image sensing device and photographing is performed while carrying out the camera shake correction processing of moving the optical axis.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image sensing apparatus having a camera shake correction function of moving an optical axis on an image sensing device. The apparatus comprises: an optical axis moving amount acquisition unit for acquiring a moving amount of the optical axis at the time of photographing; a dust pixel determination unit for scanning image data acquired by pre-photographing during which the camera shake correction function is disabled, and determining a dust pixel corresponding to dust that is adhered to the image sensing device; a dust correction data generation unit for generating dust correction data based on information about the dust pixel that has been determined by the dust pixel determination unit; and a holding unit for holding the moving amount of the optical axis acquired by the optical axis moving amount acquisition unit and the dust correction data generated by the dust correction data generation unit.
