摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine equipped with an air flow meter outputting a positive flow rate when an actual flow rate is zero and capable of estimating the amount of air filling the cylinder with high accuracy when the air intake valve is driven again from a stop state.SOLUTION: The control device of an internal combustion engine is provided with an in-intake pipe pressure estimation means for estimating pressure in an intake pipe and an error estimation means for calculating a predicted output value of the air flow meter to calculate an error between pressure in the intake pipe calculated from the predicted output value and pressure in the intake pipe calculated from the actual output value of the air flow meter as error pressure. During a time period in which the intake valve is driven, the flow rate of air taken in the cylinder is calculated based on pressure obtained by subtracting the error pressure from the pressure in the intake pipe calculated by the in-intake pipe pressure estimation means, and when the air intake valve should be driven again from a stop state, the flow rate of the air taken in the cylinder is calculated based on the pressure in the intake pipe calculated by the in-intake pipe pressure estimation means.
