PURPOSE:To obtain the titled copying material superior in raw storage stability and developable at low temp., by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compd., a coupling component made of a resorcin or phloroglucin deriv., and a heat-meltable color forming aid. CONSTITUTION:The present thermodevelopable diazo copying material is obtained by dissolving in an aq. soln. (A) diazo compd., such as 4-diazo-1-dimethylaminobenzene, (B) a coupling component contg. as a main component, one selected from 6-50C alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl amide and divalent metallic salt of optionally substd. resorcinol- or phloroglucinol carboxylic acid having <=0.1% water solubility at 20 deg.C, such as phloroglucinolcarboxylic acid monolaurylamide, and (C) a heat-meltable color forming aid, such as capronamide having 50-150 deg.C m.p.; coating a support with the obtained soln.; and forming a photosensitive layer. |
