PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship slipway berth which can perform an easy and stable docking/undocking operation even when docks or undocks a different sized ship.SOLUTION: Traveling carts 4 travel respectively on a pair of parallel tracks 3 extending from the underwater to the ground. The traveling carts 4 are coupled together horizontally by a coupling member 16. A ship body 1 is towed together with the traveling carts 4 by pulling tow ropes provided to the traveling carts 4. Each traveling cart 4 has wheels 5 and a pivot supporting device 31 between a wheel base 30 where the wheels 5 are provided and a pedestal 6 for supporting the ship body 1. A ship body supporting part 6a which is provided in an upper part of the pedestal 6, pivots with respect to the pedestal 6 corresponding to a slope of a ship bottom 1a, to come in plane contact with the ship bottom 1a. |
