SPECTRUM DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum detector that can be miniaturized and does not require any complicated optical axis alignment.SOLUTION: The spectrum detector includes: a substrate; a photodetector formed on a substrate and including a semiconductor having a plurality of projections; and a wavelength detection circuit for detecting a wavelength of light transmitted through the plurality of projections from light incident on the photodetector. A miniature spectrum detector can be obtained which can easily detect a peak wavelength distribution included in the light of an unknown wavelength even without using any optical components such as a diffraction grating and a prism, thus eliminating the need for the optical axis alignment of a complex optical system.
