PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the positioning work of a tape for accommodating an electronic component in its feeding direction in a short time to attain high positioning accuracy.SOLUTION: A taping apparatus includes a tape feeding device 11 for feeding a carrier tape 6, and an image pickup device 21 for picking up an image of a recess 7 of the carrier tape 6 from above. The apparatus further includes a reference position mark 31 provided in the image pickup range A of the image pickup device so as to form a reference of the feeding position of the carrier tape 6, and an image processor for measuring the positional deviation in the feeding direction of a recess 7 with respect to the reference position mark 31 using the image data of the image pickup device. The tape feeding device 11 has a feed control unit for controlling the feed of the carrier tape 6 so that the positional deviation may be zero. |
