Disclosed is a combustion method for a CFB boiler (1) that uses biomass fuel. The combustion method is characterized by adding a ferronickel slag to the biomass fuel which is burned in the fluidized bed boiler. The generation of alkali-silicates is suppressed because oxidized magnesium is contained in the ferronickel slag. Consequently, there is decreased danger of poor fluidity arising in conjunction with the generation of low-melting-point compounds, and so operation of the CFB boiler at high temperatures become possible. As a result, it becomes easier to increase energy recovery efficiency.
|
