<p>The present invention relates to a self-powered speed racing apparatus, comprising: a 1st exercise bike, which has a 1st pedal, a 1st bike rotator that rotates by the operation of the 1st pedal and a 1st bike load drive unit that operates with a load for impeding the rotation of the 1st bike rotator; a 1st bike speed sensor for sensing the rotational speed of the 1st bike rotator; a 2nd exercise bike, which has a 2nd pedal, a 2nd bike rotator that rotates by the operation of the 2nd pedal and a 2nd bike load drive unit that operates with a load for impeding the rotation of the 2nd bike rotator; a 2nd bike speed sensor for sensing the rotational speed of the 2nd bike rotator; a display plate installed in front of the 1st and 2nd exercise bikes; a plurality of 1st LEDs mounted on the front surface of the display plate for forming a 1st race track; a plurality of 2nd LEDs mounted on the front surface of the display plate for forming a 2nd race track arranged opposedly to the 1st race track; and a main processor, which controls racing between the 1st exercise bike and the 2nd exercise bike, by sequentially turning on the plurality of 1st LEDs forming the 1st race track according to the rotational speed of the 1st bike rotator that is sensed by the 1st bike speed sensor and by sequentially turning on the plurality of 2nd LEDs forming the 2nd race track according to the rotational speed of the 2nd bike rotator that is sensed by the 2nd bike speed sensor. As such, when installed indoors or outdoors the present invention can motivate people to do exercise for health improvement as well as to enjoy a racing game, thereby maximizing the effects of exercise.</p> |
