摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithium foil laminate which is free from defects such as flare.SOLUTION: In a rolling mill A, a primary foil 10a is gradually thinned by means of three pairs of reduction rolls 11a-11c to form a lithium foil 10 with a thickness of an approx. 100 nm to 30 μm. During the thinning process, a lubricant 13 is fed by a lubricant feeder 50 to at least either of the surface of the reduction rolls 11a-11c and the surface of the lithium foil 10. Then, in a laminating device B, the thinned lithium foil 10 is stacked on a film substrate 30 to create the laminate. During this process, almost all lubricant 13 is eliminated by a lubricant removal device 40 in a process Rc from the thinning of the lithium foil 10 to the laminating thereof, so that almost no lubricant 13 exists between the lithium foil 10 and the film substrate 30. When choosing the material of the film substrate 30, consideration has to be paid for only avoiding reaction with the lithium foil 10, so that the range of options for choosing the material of the film substrate 30 is widened.
