PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proximity sensors of types having less variations in noise effects.SOLUTION: The proximity sensor includes a detecting unit 21 consisting of a detecting coil member 32 which has a coil 32b wound on a bobbin 32a, and various types of circuit components 33 both electrically connected to a substrate 31, a cable 22 electrically connected to the detecting unit 21 for supplying power and transmitting signals, and base parts 23, 24 for locking the direction of the cable 22. The detecting unit 21 is provided at the one-side ends of the base portions 23, 24 so that the cable 22 is led out of the opposite-side ends. A detecting coil member 32 is arranged on the side of a surface 31a of the substrate 31, and all circuit components 33 are connected to the side of a reverse 31b of the substrate 31. |
