PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall of an article through a sill groove into an elevator shaft when the lower end of the sill groove passes therethrough while preventing a stumble at the sill groove.SOLUTION: A sectionally U-shaped first movable member 26 is provided in the sill groove. The movable member 26 is movable up and down between a rise position where an opening at the upper end of the sill groove 11a is closed and a fall position under the rise position where the bottom face of the sill groove is formed. At the rise position, the upper face of the movable member 26 is flush with upper faces of sill members 8, 9. The movable member 26 is located at the rise position when a car door 21 is fully opened, and displaced in conjunction with the operation of the opening/closing of the car door 21 so as to be located at the fall position when it is fully closed. |
